Description of the object
Automaton display window advertising display. Manufactured in printed and cut cardboard. Light animation by electromechanical system using a small electric motor powered by 110 volts current. It represents through the printed panel a camera lens allowing to observe a scene of the Tour de France cyclist. Advertising displayed: "No more exposure errors with the Paillard camera which measures the light through the lens… A PAILLARD-BOLEX product as precise as a Swiss watch". There is no trademark, France, late 1950s. Dimensions: 58x46x11 cm. Rare and in exceptional original condition.
